Thanksgiving week so far has been just what I needed! I’ve spent it relaxing, recouping, getting some much-needed sleep, and still managing to get a lot of schoolwork done.
Earlier in the week I went to dinner with a friend at Meddlesome Moth in Dallas.
This was my dinner outfit! I’m obsessed with infinity scarves.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. It has mostly “share plates” on the menu, so we picked out four dishes to share and did a darn good job polishing them off! It isn’t the healthiest menu, but it definitely has quality food and amazing preparation and presentation!
I didn’t do anything overly exciting for Thanksgiving, but I think the holiday is much more about taking a step back from the busy world and being thankful for all of the blessings in your life than it is about the turkey and stuffing. I called my parents and a couple close friends, texted my brothers, and definitely realized how lucky I am to have such supportive, loving people in my life. Since I’ve moved to Texas, I’ve met some truly incredible, inspirational friends and I definitely feel lucky to have gotten to know them!
Otherwise Thanksgiving was mostly just a relaxing, productive day for me!
60 minutes of cardio plus this leg workout that I put together…
My legs are feeling it today!
I had Microsoft Access issues. It wasn’t pretty.
Afternoon Stroll on the Katy Trail:
I love going for walks right before sunset. The city was so quiet yesterday too – made for a perfect relaxing stroll!
Today’s plans are pretty similar to yesterday’s… I have a lot of homework to catch up on and definitely will be making time for a workout or two when I need a break. Procrastinating with Netflix is also required.
I’m not a typical Black Friday kind of girl, so I’ll be avoiding malls at all cost today. Perhaps a little online shopping is in order though!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and snags a few deals if you’re out shopping!
Do you partake in the Black Friday madness?
