Well, it’s officially “winter” in Dallas…
In all honesty, this really doesn’t seem cold after living in Wisconsin for 20 years, but it definitely required me to drag out the winter jacket and throw on sweatpants! Luckily it doesn’t look like it will last too long, and a few snow flurries never hurt!
I was laying out by the pool just a week ago, so my fingers are crossed that the warm weather will be back soon.
There have been many years during Deer Hunting Week (aka Thanksgiving week) in Wisconsin when we had a good foot of snow on the ground, so I’m just glad there’s still a green world outside in Texas!
I actually felt like I was pretty productive this weekend! I ended up doing a lot of homework, but since the semester is wrapping up I expected this.
I managed to find time on Saturday to do some grocery shopping and filled up the fridge.
And also prepped some salads for the week.
I only have Thursday and Friday off from classes this week, but I’ll take what I can get!
I attempted to go for a walk on Saturday, but apparently “snow” in Dallas can also mean “rain” and I ended up getting soaked.
Let’s just say workouts are staying indoors for the next few days.
Now I’m just finishing up the evening with schoolwork and random Netflix in the background while getting some laundry done. Hopefully I’ll get to bed a little earlier tonight and catch up on sleep!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Any big plans for Thanksgiving this week?
